The mayor's race is Star Lake, Wisconsin is an annual event held at Stillwater's Bar and Restaurant.

Held Labor Day Weekend. Food - Fun - Karaoke - Prizes

The honorary "mayor" is elected each year by donations which go to local groups. The "mayor" has not statutory authority and is not a real political position, contrary to what they might tell you.

The proceeds have previously benefited the Star Lakers Club and other local groups / needs. In 2016 the proceeds will go to the Sayner-Star Lake Lions Club and the Barnstormers Snowmobile Club.
